  1. To compress a picture:

  3. 1. Choose Compression Settings from 
  4.     the Image menu and indicate the 
  5.     settings you want.

  7.     If youΓÇÖre not sure what settings  
  8.     to choose, use the default settings.
  9.     For details about the settings, see
  10.     ΓÇ£Changing Compression Settings.ΓÇ¥

  12. 2. Click OK.

  14. 3. Make sure the picture you want
  15.     is the active window. Click in the 
  16.     window to make it active.
